Senator Dave Murman's Bills Advance

Two bills introduced by District 38 State Senator Dave Murman advanced to Enrollment and Review at the Nebraska Legislature this morning. 

LB 940 would prohibit the use of certain artificial color additives in school meals. The bill advanced 36-0.

LB 1022 seeks to remove barriers to obtaining an educator certificate or permit by eliminating the state’s human relations training requirement. After over an hour of debate it advanced 28-7.
