Arapahoe Undefeated Season Snapped by the Irish

North Platte, NE - The Arapahoe Warriors traveled to take on the North Platte St. Pats Irish on Thursday night in the final game of the regular season with a district title on the line for Arapahoe, but things took a wrong turn after the first play of the game after starting Quarterback Trenton Roskop leaves the game after an injury. Then a fumble that North Platte St. Pats would capitalize and would lead early 6-0.

Arapahoe would then have another costly mistake where North Platte St. Pats would also score and then lead the game 14-0.  Arapahoe would then find success offensively to make it a one possesion game but trailed 14-7 with 8:50 to play in the 2nd quarter.  The Irish would then answer late before halftime to go back up by two scores.  Arapahoe would answer late in the 3rd quarter with 3:59 to play to get it back to a one possesion game, but the Irish would kick a 31 yard field goal to make it 24-14 with 6:49 to go in the game.  Arapahoe would sputter on offense and the Irish hang on to win at home ending Arapahoe's perfect regular season.  Arapahoe falls to 7-1 on the year and North Platte St. Pats improves to 7-1.  Both teams will enter the post season starting on Thursday.
