Tickets for Nebraska vs. Kansas State Exhibition Go On Sale This Friday
Grand Island, Neb. – Tickets for the Nebraska men’s basketball exhibition matchup against Kansas State at BigIron Events Center will go on sale this week on Friday, September 18 at 10 a.m.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets at both the BigIron Events Center Box Office and online via Ticketmaster at www.bigironeventscenter.com/huskers.
The Huskers and Wildcats will meet Monday, October 26 at 6:30 p.m. inside Eihusen Arena at BigIron Events Center in Grand Island in a game presented by Pinnacle Bank.
This exhibition game marks a rare opportunity for central Nebraska fans to see the Huskers in action locally, and the Grand Island matchup is not included in Nebraska’s 2026–27 men’s basketball season-ticket packages.
Nebraska’s returning roster is headlined by first-team All-Big Ten selection Pryce Sandfort and Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year Braden Frager. The Huskers also welcome back Connor Essegian and have added an eight-member newcomer class that includes transfers Sam Orme, Trevan Leonhardt, Boden Kapke and Taj DeGourville, along with top-150 recruits Colin Rice and Jacob Lanier.
The Grand Island contest is Nebraska’s third exhibition game of the preseason. The Huskers will host Saint Louis on Oct. 9 and travel to BYU on Oct. 16.
“Hosting Nebraska and Kansas State at BigIron Events Center is a tremendous opportunity for Grand Island and all of central Nebraska,” BigIron Events Center Executive Director Kyler Tarwater said.
“High-profile events like this showcase the strength of our community, support local businesses and hotels, and reinforce Grand Island’s position as a destination for major sports and entertainment.”
