Ten Huskers Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors
A total of 10 Nebraska student-athletes captured Academic All-Big Ten awards when the conference announced its honors for the 2025-26 women's basketball season on Wednesday, March 18.
Three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection Callin Hake headlined the list of Nebraska's honorees. The senior starting guard from Victoria, Minn., earned her third straight award while helping Nebraska to its third NCAA Tournament in her career. Hake, who is a two-time President of the Nebraska Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the current chair of the Big Ten Student-Athlete Issues Commission, will make her 31st start this season tonight as the Huskers take on Richmond in the NCAA First Four in Durham, N.C., at 6 p.m. (CT).
Hake is joined on the Academic All-Big Ten team by graduate students Allison Weidner and Hailey Weaver. Weidner claimed the fourth Academic All-Big Ten award of her career, despite sitting out the 2025-26 season with injury.
Juniors Logan Nissley and Jessica Petrie both earned their second Academic All-Big Ten awards as Huskers along with redshirt sophomore Natalie Potts.
First-team All-Big Ten guard Britt Prince and fellow sophomores Amiah Hargrove and Petra Bozan along with redshirt freshman Kennadi Williams all claimed the first Academic All-Big Ten honors of their careers.
