The first pitch for Game 1 of McCook Community College's four-game series against Luna Community College starting Friday has been pushed back to a 1 p.m. start at the Jaycees Sports Complex.
Coaches will keep an eye on the weather, but Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled to start at noon.
MCC is 32-9 and is tied for first place in the Region IX standings at 13-3.
The Indians have won six straight Region IX games and are 15-4 at the Jaycees Sports Complex.
The Roughriders (from Las Vegas, N.M.) are 5-11 and tied for seventh place in the region and are 11-29 overall.
