A strong cold front pushing through the area this morning will usher in gusty north-northeast winds across the entire area for the rest of the day. Gusts up to 40-45 MPH are not out of the question.
Southern areas ahead of the front will have the potential for temperatures to climb into the 70s-80s and relative humidities to fall to near 20 percent.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect from noon to 8 PM today for areas along and south of the NE-KS state line.
