Comments from McCook Head Tennis Coach Matt Wiemers:
Very pleased with the effort and fight the team played with. Lexington is a deep team and returned a solid nucleus of players who have logged a lot of court time. The guys battled hard to stay in several of the matches, but couldn't overcome some self inflected errors to come out on top.
With one last duel at home Thursday, we will use it to build momentum heading into the state tournament and off season. Its been a great season, but we need to remain focused and finish strong.
