Lyndsay Keogh named region’s ‘Player of the Week’

McCook Community College freshman Lyndsay Keogh has been named Region IX Player of the Week for her work on the softball field March 16-March 22.
Against Northeastern Junior College Keogh had nine hits in 15 at bats, batting .600 for the week with a double, two home runs, three runs scored and eight RBIs to help the Lady Indians to a 3-1 series win.
Keogh, a native of Surrey, British Columbia, is batting .463 on the season with eight home runs and 42 RBIs. She is second in Region IX in RBIs, third in homers and fourth in batting average for the No. 25 Lady Indians (26-4).
