Kooper Rakes Drives 4 Runners Home In MNB Seniors Victory Over Imperial

Kooper Rakes drove in four runs on three hits to lead MNB Seniors past Imperial 14-3 on Tuesday. Rakes hit a home run to center field in the first inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the second inning, scoring two.

MNB scored 10 runs in the first inning on the way to victory. Rakes homered to center field, scoring three runs, Trenton Raile singled, scoring one run, Bryson Gullion hit a grand slam to left field, Kale Sattler drew a walk, scoring one run, and Cole Davidson drew a walk, scoring one run.

MNB added two runs in the second. Rakes singled down the left field line, making the score 12-0.

Abel Wilson began the game for MNB. The hurler gave up five hits and three runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking two. BREXTIN MORENO led things off on the hill for Imperial. The hurler gave up three hits and nine runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one and walking six.

MNB piled up 10 hits in the game. Raile collected two hits for MNB in three at bats. MNB had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 12 walks for the game.
