Gering Platte Valley Companies Sweeps McCook MNB Bank Seniors in Double Header

Game 1

Miles Pollmann collected three hits in four at bats, but McCook MNB Seniors lost to Platte Valley Companies 12-7 on Saturday at Gering. Platte Valley Companies scored seven runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. Quentin Terry induced Gable to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Molina doubled, scoring three runs, Caleb Swisher doubled, scoring one run, Kellen Dunn singled, scoring one run, and Isaiah Murillo grounded out, scoring one run. Barron Williams earned the win for Platte Valley Companies. They gave up four hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking two.
