Creighton Volleyball to Host Spring Match vs. Nebraska

OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton’s 2026 Spring Volleyball season will feature an April 17th match at D.J. Sokol Arena against Nebraska. 

The April 17th contest will start at 7 p.m. and will be televised statewide by Nebraska Public Media.

Both teams reached the Elite Eight last season. Creighton finished 28-6 and ranked 10th nationally, while Nebraska was 33-1 and ranked third in the year-end AVCA poll.

The teams have played a five-set match in three of the last four seasons, including last September’s match-up at CHI Health Center Omaha that attracted 17,675 fans. That crowd remains the largest regular-season volleyball-only indoor crowd in NCAA history.

Ticket information will be sent to Creighton Volleyball season ticket holders regarding a presale. If any tickets remain, a public on-sale would be March 9th.

March 28 - at Omaha (after LOVB Nebraska match at Baxter Arena)

April 11 - at UMKC Tournament

April 17 - NEBRASKA at D.J. Sokol Arena

April 25 - Tournament at Premier Volleyball Club in Gretna, Neb.
