Nebraska senior quarterback Anthony Colandrea was honored Monday, as he was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Bowling Green.

Colandrea completed 20-of-24 passes for 224 yards and a career-high four touchdown passes in Nebraska’s 56-7 win last Saturday. His four TD passes are a career high, as his previous best was three on several occasions, including the opener.  He was exceptionally efficient in the first half, going 17-of-20 for 184 yards and four touchdowns in the first half, leading the Huskers on five straight touchdown drives as NU took a 35-0 lead into halftime.

On the season, he has completed 38-of-56 passes (67.9 percent) for 497 yards and seven touchdowns while rushing 14 times for 56 yards and one score. He ranks second nationally in points responsible for per game (24) and is in the top 25 nationally in other offensive categories, including passing touchdowns (7, ninth) and passing efficiency (180.1, 21st).

While this is his first Big Ten honor, Colandrea was a four-time Mountain West Player of the Week in 2025 while at UNLV.

Colandrea and the Huskers are in action Saturday night, as Nebraska hosts North Dakota. Kickoff is set for 6:15 p.m. and the game will be carried on BTN and on the Huskers Radio Network. A very limited number of tickets remain for the game, which also includes a postgame concert by Cole Swindell, and can be purchased by visiting Huskers.com/Tickets.
