Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska Will Run Through Southwest Nerbaska

For 40 years, Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska (BRAN) riders have experienced epic cycling, enjoying the small town hospitality and the beauty of the rolling terrain on the great plains through Nebraska.
BRAN is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization that utilizes its revenues for scholarships for high school students to attend Nebraska trade schools, colleges, universities or other post secondary education programs. BRAN is a bicycle touring event that is typically held the first full week of June and is a “Bicycle Ride Designed By Bicyclists, For Bicyclists.”
Close to 400 riders will depart Benkelman on June 4th and follow a path through the southern area of the state, eventually ending in Ashland on June 10th.
Sunday, June 4 - departing from Benkelman and proceeding to Cambridge along Hwy 34 by way of Max, Stratton, Trenton, Culbertson, McCook, Indianola, and Bartley.
Monday June 5 - departing from Cambridge along Hwy 34 through Holbrooke, Arapahoe, and Edison, then on Hwy 84 and then Hwy 89, going through Oxford, Stamford, and Orleans before arriving in Alma.
Tuesday, June 6 - departing from Alma and heading east on Hwy 136 to Red Cloud via Republican City, Bloomington, Franklin, Riverton, Inavale, and Red Cloud.
Wednesday, June 7 - departing Red Cloud along Hwy 136 for Hebron via Guide Rock, Ruskin, and Deshler
Thursday, June 8 - departing Hebron on Hwy 136 as far as Gilead, then turning north toward Wulbur, passing through Alexandria on Route 53, then on Route 4 and Route 103 by way of Daykin, Plymouth, and Dewitt
Friday, June 9 - departing Wilber along Route 3 and 33 on up to Dorchester, then taking Route 15 and Highway 6 through Milford and then east to Seward.
Saturday, June 10 - departing Seward heading north along Route 15 to Dwight, then following Route 66 through Valpraiso and Ceresco to our final destination in Ashland.
